District Cold Chain Officers on PV Course

A three-day PV capacity building refreshment course was conducted this year for District Cold Chain officers and their Assistants from eight districts of Mwanza region.

The course on PV solar vaccine fridges dwelt mainly on main components, operation, trouble shooting and maintenance.

It was organized by the Project in cooperation with the Regional Cold Chain Office in preparation for the planned rehabilitation of the cold chain equipment and the expected addition of new PV vaccine fridges.

The Regional Medical Officer attended the closing session of the course which was held from 25th to 27th Sept, 2006.
